The Companies in the UAE are also required to comply with the requirements of the UAE labour laws. There are specific labour laws that are applicable to the various companies in the Free Zones. DIFC has come up with the DEWS (DIFC Employee Workplace Savings Plan) which requires the employer to pay the applicable gratuity on a monthly basis to the common fund.
